Studying at TAIE means more than coming to class every day! Our Activity Program is designed to allow students to practice the English language in a real world setting. By combining classes and a wide range of social and recreational events students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Canadian culture while enjoying everything that Toronto has to offer.

In addition, TAIE’s school clubs provide fantastic opportunities for students to interact in a multicultural environment; form deep and lasting relationships with other students; and to get to know teachers and staff as well. School clubs allow you to pursue an interest (even if that interest is something that you’ve never pursued before). That’s another way TAIE is different! Whether you live on campus or at a Canadian home stay we encourage you to meet new people, practice English in your daily life, and to get involved!

Students at TAIE can also take advantage of our Toastmasters Club where students learn the art of speaking, listening and thinking. You will increase your English proficiency by practicing public speeches in a fun and interactive environment. Toastmasters Club is an international organization. Become part of a club recognized worldwide!

While Toronto offers infinite possibilities for enjoyment and recreation TAIE students may also participate in any of our Trips and Excursions to other great Canadian cities such as Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec City, and Ottawa, and many other exciting destinations.
